IS Group
The IS-Group comprises IS-Rayfast, Cabletec, IS-Motorsport and Clarendon.
IS-Rayfast supplies high performance wiring and interconnect products for use in a range of technically demanding applications including Aerospace, Military & Marine, Rail and Electronics.
Designers and consultants of high value equipment need specialist interconnect products which produce consistently reliable power outputs or signals, often in high temperature environments or other harsh operating conditions. Our goal is to supply the designers and constructors with the right product for a particular application. This requires a significant level of technical expertise and an extensive and varied inventory.
Products include irradiated wire and cable, protective tubing material with memory properties that enable it to shrink to fit a particular wire bundle and identification tabs capable of withstanding extreme operating conditions. Added value services range from a printing bureau for larger quantities of identification tabs through to the management of the design and construction of complex multi-core cables.
IS-Rayfast has established a representative office in Beijing. The initial focus is on the Chinese commercial aerospace repair and aftermarket sector where there is an increasing demand for high performance components for electrical harnesses.
Cabletec is a supplier of wiring and interconnect products to the Aerospace (both civil and military), Rail and Commercial Electronics industries. Cabletec’s traditional business is the distribution of a range of specialised wiring and harness components, very similar to those supplied by IS-Rayfast. In addition, Cabletec supplies a range of manufactured products, including flexible braided products and multicore cables.
IS-Motorsport (“ISM”) supplies the IS-Rayfast products to the Motorsport sector, supplying most of the Formula 1 teams as well as other series in the UK and Continental Europe. In the US, ISM supplies to all the major Motorsport series including IRL, NASCAR, Champcar, ALMS and Grand-AM. Clarendon supplies aerospace quality fasteners into the same Motorsport customer base.
