Sommer Filcon
Sommer Filcon supplies a range of high performance wiring and connectors to customers in a range of high technology industries including Defence, Aerospace, Space, Automotive diagnostics and Medical equipment.
Sommer is located in Stuttgart and operates from a consolidated sales and warehousing operation close to Stuttgart airport and the "Neue Messe Stuttgart" (New Trade Fair Stuttgart). Although similar to Rayfast in many ways, Sommer was previously restricted to distributing Tyco Electronics Interconnect products within the Baden-Württemberg region of Germany and the Company has enjoyed strong growth since the territorial restrictions were removed. Sales offices have been established in Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt.
Filcon is a supplier of specialist connectors principally into the defence and aerospace markets in Germany. Filcon also supplies to projects in the rail and marine sectors.
Filcon works closely with Sommer and shares a common facility in Taufkirchen for the Munich operations.
